The History of Weston (South Cheshire) is a 160 page long journey through the history of the parish.

The first part of the book takes you from the Prehistoric Period to the Modern Day, including in some detail medieval fields, The Civil War and The Second World War, as well as other events in history, along with many transcriptions of original historic records.

It details with the use of these historic records the span of the centuries which has influenced the changing and evolving nature of the village, its hamlets, and people.

The second part of the book homes in on other aspects of the history of Weston. Some examples include township/parish boundaries, place-names, religion (including All Saints Church, Methodist Chapels and burial grounds), manors (including a lost manor and the late Weston Hall), education, public houses (including The White Lion and The Broughton Arms), mills, farms, smithies and other trades.

Throughout the book are tables of information, annotated maps, old maps and photos of some of the buildings of Weston.
