The Chairman and members of the Parish Council were delighted to hear that Graham Witter had been awarded a British Empire Medal in Her Majesty’s Birthday Honours list.

It is entirely appropriate that as Organiser and founder of the Weston Christmas light Display his hard work over a long period should be recognised in this way.

The annual display brought enormous pleasure to so many people of all ages and raises substantial funds for the Donna Louise Hospice.

The Parish Council extends its sincere congratulations to Graham and sends best wishes for the future.
